—— The first song 「Kissing you」 is perfect for this season. It’s refresing and you can feel it’s real tolerant.
【BoA】Yes it’s really refreshing and it’s also perfec to listen to it in the beach or something similar. The lyric it’s about protecting your important person but not like “Do it with energy!” but more like with calm and easily. That’s why I thought in making it a warm song and the voice and way of singing it fussed over.

——It’s certainly a kind song. Does BoA feel empathy for this song?
【BoA】Yes. I certainly would like to become a support for my important one. I think all women think like that.

——Well everybody needs an important person.
【BoA】That’s what I think. That’s why I think it’ll be good to listen this song while thinking in that person. If somebody is weak and my voice turns into strengh dor them I’ll be really happy. Also it’ll be great if you feel even a little better after listening to it.

——The second song 「Sparkiling」 is an upper house tune.
【BoA】I like hause so I had a lot of fun while recording it. The lyric is positve and shows a strong female image, so it’s BoA’s style. For example I’m that kind of person that even though it makes kistakes they are my decision. If you don’t take your decisions you’ll regret it, so I feel identified with that point.

——And yet, the character in this song shows that the current condition is not enough and she want to go forward and grow more, What about BoA?
【BoA】I share the fact of growing but I take things more calmly and do the things I have to 1 by one. Once I’ve finished with one I try the other and if I make a mistake I rethink it. By doing that I think you can grow in a natural way.

——I see. By the way this DVD contains the music videos of 「Kissing you」and「Sparkling」. It’s the first time you include 2 videos in a single.
【BoA】They are really different. 「Kissing you」was really difficult since it was shoot in “one cut”. While the set was rolling the situations were also changing. So I had to adapt myself to the new situation. The time I had to do things was already decided and since it was only one cut there was no chance to stop. In my head I was thinking “You can’t miss!” so it was a great tension and I ended exhausted (bitter smile). I’m glad of the result since it’s the first time I do a music video like this.

——3 songs and 2 videos. You should feel satisfied.
【BoA】I want to have a lot of fun (laugh) the third song 「Joyful smile」 is about the feelings of a girl before a date so it’s girly. This is even for me unusual (laugh). When something happened and you feel down you have 「Kissing you」. When you are feeling great 「Sparling」. And before a date「Joyful smile」.
